Benedict Wild
I am a PhD Student in the Cognitive Neuroscience Lab at the German Primate Center. I am interested in how sensory information, particularly visual motion, is encoded in the brain.
I am also a huge fan of distance running, both as a runner myself and as a fan.
In my blog I am planning to write about issues in both, science and running. I might split it up in two separate blogs at one point in the future.
I'm currently using this space mostly as a playground to learn some HTML and CSS. Expect frequent changes.

New paper alert: our registered report protcol for a psychophysics project that compares motion perception for different stimlulus types was published in PLoS ONE!
I successfully defended my PhD thesis a few weeks ago! This is where I would normally write "You can call me Dr. now", but thanks to German bureaucracy, this will actually take a little while longer :-)
